The Nevada Chapter AGC was instrumental in the creation and implementation of the Introduction to Construction Technology classes and the upcoming Introduction to Engineering Technology classes at 5 Washoe County School District high schools. The classes combine training along with craft related classroom instruction.

The Nevada Chapter AGC through its members was instrumental in helping start the Academy for Career Education(ACE), a Construction Trades Charter High School. Several of the 19 ACE Charter High School Board Members are AGC members.
