The "Respect the Cone: My family needs me home" campaign seeks the community's assistance in safeguarding construction workers. These dedicated individuals are working to build Nevada’s future and require our collective effort to ensure their safety in the work zone.
The campaign materials feature local roadway and highway construction workers and their families in an effort to encourage drivers in the community to remember the people who are behind the cones and to slow down and pay attention in work zones. |

Construction Career Day is all about introducing northern Nevada's students to exciting, well-paying careers in the construction industry! This one-day event allows students to learn about education, training, and apprenticeship opportunities in construction while having fun with interactive activities and displays. AGC and the Building & Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada (BCTNN) continue their partnership with Washoe County School District’s Signature Academies and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to bring this one-of-a-kind event to life.
