​2023 LEMELSON CONSTRUCTION CAREER DAY

The AGC Education Committee in conjunction with ACE High School host an annual Construction Career Day for AGC's Partner in Education, Lemelson STEM Academy, a Title 1 school located in north Reno.  AGC members come together to educate our future workforce on career opportunities in the industry.

Day of events include building wood kits with the ACE High School freshman class, industry related relay races, build-a-city with the kindergartners, marshmallow-spaghetti engineering activity, exploration of heavy equipment, construction story-time, and a presentation on careers in construction.
